Farewell to our sweet girl PeeBee….

1998 – 2013

Our sweet PeeBee girl is the black and white lovely behind GG SassyFras in this picture.   PeeBee crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Saturday, November 16.   She was our last rescue cat from Saudi Arabia.    Ernie was in Saudi for 90 days before I was allowed to join him…and PeeBee found him during that time…he’s a soft touch for kitties.   By the time I arrived,  she had already won his heart.   We adopted her only to find out later, she actually had siblings and a home.  The folks that had her were happy to let her be rehomed.

PeeBee moved into the house with the “I live here now” attitude and she got along well with every kitty that we brought in…she was a very mild mannered girl.   In her older age,  she become a little less tolerant and a lot more vocal!

She certainly had a good life for a feral Saudi kitty, a good home and a lot of love.    It’s hard to say goodbye, but we know she is running now with her beloved Purr-C kitty.

  1. I’m so sorry about PeeBee. I know she had a wonderful life with both of you and am honored that she crawled into my lap for a little love. It’s so very sad when we lose our furry babies.

  2. So sorry for your loss. We are cat people too.. and those little furry critters sure do become part of the home quickly… and are missed when they are gone. BUt Pee Bee seems to have been a lucky one… a good, long life in a loving home.

  3. They fill our hearts and our laps. And they leave cat-shaped holes in the heart when they go. Our kitten turns a year old today, there’s a never-ending flow of cats from the universe to us, but each one is unique and brings something no other cat has to us.

Sending hugs as you miss your PeeBee,
    Auntie Deb
