The rehearsal went well, dinner was a cookout featuring brats, hamburgers & assorted salads. YUM. Everyone ate until they couldn’t breathe…then headed off to get ready for the big event.
The wedding was beautiful. Alexandria was gorgeous as only a granddaughter can be. Jim and the wedding party were terrific! Dad walked Alexandria down the aisle…in his shades (oh dear!)
Hunter gave a flawless rendition of the Wedding March on his keyboard as Rustin and Alexandria walked down the aisle. Hunter was sooo serious about his parts in the ceremony. He’s quite the young man.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the place as the vows were exchanged and the “I Do”s were said. Don’t they make a cute couple!
Alexandria and James Stewart with Mom and Dad. Everyone looked so gorgeous. Nice day for photos too.
The wedding was held at the family farm which is absolutely beautiful. There is a very attractive pond, a lovely bridge and all manner of breathtaking greenery to use a a very photogenic backdrop. The grounds are more well kempt than most golf courses! Kudos to Larry and Karen for providing such a perfect setting.
Ernie and I were pretty low keyed…As you can see, we had a nice breeze by the time we started taking pictures, lol. I should’ve invested in a bigger can of hair spray! I’m sure there’ll be a few more photos when the professional photographer hands over her photos.
