wait 15 minutes and it will change! I cannot tell you how many times I’ve heard that in my lifetime. Definitely a bunch.
It was a beautiful, clear, crispy day… going home, I watched the moon rise out the front windshield, and a gorgeous sunset out the rear view mirror. This was taken from a moving vehicle, so it’s not very clear. Sorry.
Then there were several days of pea soup fog. I hate driving in this stuff…especially after dark during deer hunting season. It’s hard enough to see them on the road when there is no fog, lol.
Then we had rain!!!! About 1 1/2″ of the golden life giving stuff.
Finally, we had the first snowfall of 2012. We received about 1″. It was beautiful on the trees and not so pretty on the roadway. Emergency calls for several rollovers and jack-knifed trucks. BVFD rolled on one accident and was suiting up for the jack-knifed truck when they were told to stand down.
Everything was pretty much melted by evening. The snow always looks pretty on the house. As you can see, this was just a dusting, but still…it’s the first of the year! Who knows, maybe we’ll have snow for Christmas!!!
