HOT ~~~ HOT~~~ HOT

We’re in the middle of what’s predicted to be a long stretch of 100+ days.

The grass is dead, the garden is dying…we’re a major fire hazard.  Rain would be so appreciated.  A bunch of rain….something hard, lasting for days, soaking and with massive runoff to put water back in the Bayou.

Even the birdies are risking it all to come up for drinks.   Looks like Ernie will need to fill all the drinking spots.   He repaired the fountain yet again, so it’s pumping water for the birds that care to land and partake.

  1. we in the mid west would love to send you some of our rain, it has been raining every day, then it throws in a few tornadoes to keep us on our toes.
    take care

  2. Gee,, you must have some of our heat! The northwest (Spokane, WA) can’t seem to get above 70 degrees. We are way below normal temps, and, admittedly, it is delightful. Haven’t had to crack out a pair of shorts yet, and my legs look like the white underbelly of a fish, but I am enjoying it while it lasts. I am sure we will have plenty of 100+ days to come.

  3. Glad I am NOT there! Too hot for me – I won’t whine about our 60 degree rainy day. Cute kitties!
